Tintex promotes open day and TexBoost shows up

On April 17th, Tintex Textiles hosted Open Day Indústria 4.0. The initiative, promoted by Iapmei - Agency for Competitiveness and Innovation and COTEC Portugal, was attended by the Secretary of State for the Economy, João Correia das Neves. Before an audience of more than 300 people from different sectors, Ana Silva and Pedro Magalhães (both from Tintex), Carla Silva (CeNTI - Center for Nanotechnology and Smart Materials) and José Morgado (CITEVE) presented the Picasso, Texboost and Texbion projects. Sustainability and innovation are the key words to characterize this textile company from Vila Nova de Cerveira.

The TexBoost project presented the prototype of the upholstered chair with “vegan leather”, which concerns Textile Solutions Valued with Vegetable Waste - (PPS5-AN1).
